A dramatic Baritone

Wolfgang A. Rauch is an opera singer from the German city of Cologne, where he studied classical singing and music at the Conservatory, as well as in Italy and France.

His career began in the capital of classical music at the Bavarian State Opera – the Staatsoper in Munich, Germany, where he became a permanent cast member under the direction of the internationally renowned conductor and professor of music, Wolfgang Sawallisch. Here, Placido Domingo noticed Wolfgang Rauch and invited him to join him for his gala concert and later performances in Monte Carlo.

His international career took Wolfgang Rauch to the world’s most prestigious opera houses: from the Staatsopers at Vienna, Hamburg and Munich to La Scala in Milan, London’s Royal Opera House and the Barcelona Lyceum, then on to South America and Japan before returning to Europe and the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Semper Oper Dresden and the opera houses of Amsterdam, Monte Carlo, Nice and Toulouse. But his heart remains firmly in touch with his audience. This is why Wolfgang Rauch enjoys nothing more than singing at private concerts, intimate celebrations, your wedding, parties and galas at your home or your place of business.
